RODEO DUO

We’re Rodeo Duo!

Your fun-loving mother–daughter team bringing a fresh twist to the world of line dancing!

Rodeo Duo was built on a shared love of dance and a belief that it should feel like more than just a class.

We’re a mother and daughter team with dance in our blood. Heather has been a qualified dance teacher for decades, running her own dance school and teaching generations of students. Amy has been dancing since the age of 3, earning British and European dance titles, before discovering modern Nashville-style line dancing in Australia… high-energy, social and full of personality! When we brought those worlds together, Rodeo Duo was born.

But what makes this even more special is that we get to do it together sharing something we both love, side by side (and yes… people say we even have the same facial expressions!)

Yes, we teach great dances. Yes, you’ll use them at socials and party nights. But what makes us different is the atmosphere.

This isn’t a silent, serious class where everyone stares at their feet. It’s welcoming, upbeat and full of life. Strangers become friends. Confidence grows without pressure. And people of all ages share the same dance floor.

Meet Amy

A woman wearing a gray cowboy hat, a sleeveless black shirt with a star graphic, sparkly gray pants, and brown boots, taking a selfie in a colorful indoor setting.

Amy might have a degree in Marine Biology, but dance has always been her true constant. After spending five years in Australia, she rediscovered her love for movement, embracing the country lifestyle from rodeos to line dancing nights that quickly became her favourite hobby.

Amy brings confidence, rhythm and energy to every class, these days it’s all about fun, freedom and feeling good!

Her favourite part? The laughter, the smiles and watching people leave happier than when they arrived.

Meet Heather

A woman smiling and wearing a cowboy hat, pink checkered shirt, standing in front of a pink sequin backdrop with game signs and decorations.

Dance has always been close to Heather's heart. Earlier in life, she ran a dance school, stepping away when Amy was born, and now, years later, she’s found her way back to the dance floor.

Having taught line dancing over 20 years ago, coming back to it now feels like a true full-circle moment. Heather brings a calm, supportive presence to every class, helping dancers build confidence and feel at ease.

For her, its all about creating a welcoming environment where everyone can enjoy the experience and grow at their own pace.
